ZULFE ALI
Velerity Group, Inc. was founded by Zulfe Ali, a financial professional with over 30 years of experience leading corporate investments and transactions in the US and internationally. Prior to founding Velerity Group, Zulfe was a partner at a Washington DC based venture capital firm, C5 Capital. He previously served the role of Chief Investment Officer at a Middle East sovereign wealth fund where he implemented a global investment strategy across direct private equity, real estate, and managed funds. In his previous roles at JPMorgan and Bank of America, he has worked extensively in both debt and equity securities. Zulfe holds a BA in Mathematics from Carleton College and an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University.

ANDY BURCH
Andy Burch founded Velerity Group's predecessor firm, Carolina Securities, in 1996. He now serves in the role of Registered Representative and Senior Advisor for Velerity Group. Andy has decades of transactional experience and a deep network of institutional investors that he is able to access. In his prior roles, he served as Sr. Vice President and Triangle Area Manager of BBT (now Truist). He has previously worked with Calvert Research Institute and managed two asset based lending funds. Andy is a graduate of ECU Business School, a graduate of LSU School of Banking, and a graduate of UNC Young Executives Program.
